Fridgeless Raw Feeding I

As we don’t have enough electricity for a fridge up here, I need a different method to keep Kali’s meat good for these two weeks. So I buried it.

We’ll see how that works in about a week, when I first plan to open the meat hole again.

Chicken halves on hay!

Cover the meat in hay as well.

Cover everything with earth and grass… Pretty easy, eh?

And cover the whole thing with some big stones for two reasons:
1. You’ll find it again.
2. Predators have a harder time digging it up, should they try.

Read part two HERE.
